Like to tell you that the first meeting in June after the retreat of "the Circle of Presence" in Amsterdam was beautifull. At the last retreat at Venwoude many people added their names to the mailinglist for our meetings. There were now 17 people present; we never had before such a big circle.
 
The name "Circle of Presence" came by the way from Hans Nitschmann (from Australia?) who told us at the start of our meetings , few years ago, that that was the name at that time of a group meeting in Australia and we liked the name much.

Also the 'format ' that this "Circle of Presence " contains: The last part of the evening we sit in a Circle and there is one chair empty. If you feel so you can sit on the chair and in this way have all the attention and presence of the others. You can look, stay quiet or tell what's on your heart. The others don't react unless you ask youself.
 
We start the evening with sitting in silence  in a circle for 20 minutes.
 
After that we sit in couples opposit eachother. Looking in each others eyes. One person starts 'being with what is', being quiet or sharing. The other doesn't react , is present. Then they change after 5 minutes. One is present the other can share or is quiet. Each has 2 x 5 minutes.  So totally 20 min.
 
After this we do "The Circle of presence" as written above and we close again with 5 to 10 minutes silence. Then there is some space for sharing or practical things.

Like to tell you this way how we meet here in Amsterdam which for me is such a gift and what I hear for others too.

As Jarrah is in town at the moment I asked her to come to the Circle the 6th of July and she will be singing some songs at the start of our coming meeting. That will be special and will surely add to making our field.
